We had a fabulous stay at Hope Cottage. It's situated in a great village with a lively local pub and a village shop and cafe'. The village is 30 mins or so away from the heart of Exmoor or some great North Devon beaches. The cottage itself is spacious and extremely well equipped. The owners have taken great care to provide you with a welcoming home from home. We would thoroughly recommend and book again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hope cottage. It made us travel back in time. Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we need for a holiday. And don't miss the Bell inn pub opposite to the cottage for a cheeky pint!

Lovely cottage, in a quiet setting close to a lovely pub and shop. Impeccably clean throughout and absolutely no problems with our stay.

The cottage is in a lovely quiet village with a local shop, pub and church all within 2 minutes walk. It is very spacious and super clean, very well equipped and was roomy and comfortable for the 5 of us (all adults). On road parking was very easy right outside the cottage. Our stay was brief and busy so we had no time to try the outside spaces. Really lovely place for a stay in Devon.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay in Hope Cottage last week. The accommodation was as described and felt very spacious and well looked after as well as immaculately clean. The house has everything you need and the upstairs bathroom was particularly lovely. The huge utility room was a massive surprise and very useful! Jules was extremely responsive to any questions and we won’t hesitate to book to stay here again soon.

What a great place. We were a family of 5 - parents + 3 adult daughters. House was spotless, had everything you needed and even a BBQ in a garden up the hill next to the most beautiful church which we used. Thanks for small touches of local biscuits and fruit cake and milk in the fridge. The area is peaceful, great local pub 100m down the road and also a great village store right opposite the cottage with everything you could need - even beer and wine (Great tasting local meat). Highly recommended

This really is a chocolate box Devon stay.
The property was immaculately clean,spacious and lots of thoughtful handy thing’s available eg washing liquid,dishwasher tablets etc.
There was a lovely cake and some biscuits plus milk in the fridge on our arrival.
We loved staying here,I especially didn’t want to leave.
There’s a great pub and shop in the village.
